Title Editor Guidelines

10th Power Media Corporation has developed a unique business opportunity in the “Home Based Business” arena. We have secured thousands of unique and potentially profitable monthly e-magazines that relate to a broad spectrum of interests, hobbies, sports and activities.

Each of these e-magazines is being built into a fully functional Web portal that will attract the interest of visitors from around the world on different, specific subjects. Each new electronic magazine comes complete with feature articles and subject columns that change monthly. As the magazine develops, freelance writers will submit new work and the magazine will have its own exclusive stories and articles.

The purpose of the magazines is to entertain, inform and generate income through the many related links, advertising space on the pages and income from affiliate relationships. This income can range from a few dollars to thousands of dollars per month, depending on the popularity of the site, and the sponsors and advertisers it attracts.

What 10th Power Media Corporation is offering is to provide selected title editors the opportunity of participating in this lucrative and rapidly growing, Internet-based industry, and to offer it for free!

The Title Editor:
Title Editors will need to have a good working knowledge of the subject matter covered by each magazine they wish to edit. If, for example, your hobby is French Cooking then our French cooking e-magazine (www.frenchcookingmonthly.com) might be suitable for you.

If you enjoy an active sport such as fishing then our www.fishermanmonthly.com would be for you. Having good knowledge and interest in the subject of the electronic publication is imperative to qualify for our program and allows you to better understand your potential readership. If you are not a bowler, you can’t be expected to understand what bowlers would enjoy reading about, or even what a bowler might find interesting.

We have set a limit on the number of electronic magazines an editor can handle until he proves competent and efficient in what he handles, then we will decide what added responsibility he can have.

Age, sex, religion, physical limitations and location are not a consideration for these positions as they are all electronic or virtual. An editor can work at his or her own pace, as well as when and where, as long as deadlines are met. This is a perfect situation for the person who enjoys the Internet and is looking for supplemental income.

Aside from your monthly editor’s column, this position does not require you to write the magazine’s content, though you are welcome to. In part, our program uses published content of major publications and sources already established in the field. You will, however; need to seek out sources for these publications using Web searches and independent research including print publications. We also expect you to have writers submit work to you. Working with our in-house staff and the editorial director, you will be asked to be the “first reader” for work submitted by writers. This copy will then be submitted to the editorial director for final editing and placement. Once you have established you are capable of working unsupervised, you will be responsible to edit and submit copy for publishing with minimal oversight, but maximum support.

As the editor, you are also required to monitor your sites on a daily basis to ensure they are functioning properly.

Each quarter, 10th Power Media will review the growth, quality, maintenance and income of the editor’s magazine. If required, the company will offer suggestions on improving that magazine or if the magazine is not being properly maintained and optimized by the editor, the company will notify the editor of termination of their agreements on that online magazine.

Equipment Requirements:
To properly function as an editor you will need a good, serviceable computer with a high speed Internet connection (DSL, Road Runner or Cable).

Your Participation:
Advertisers are motivated to pay for success if the editor can maintain the highest quality online magazine and the magazine truly represents the subject that is being covered. The income may be optimized to the benefit of the editor as well as 10th Power Media.

As Editor of your own e-magazine you will have no out of pocket expenses for maintaining the magazine on a monthly basis. The hosting, maintenance, programming and development of the magazine will be handled by 10th Power Media Corporation. You will work with an assigned Webmaster who will oversee your operation and progress with your publication.

You, as the editor, will participate in the revenue generated by the publication. You will receive a monthly report on the traffic and income that was generated by your online magazine. This report shall include a breakdown of all of the pay per clicks, pay per traffic, affiliate programs and any other related income from advertising and related redirection fees. Within 10 days from the end of the month the full accounting will be submitted and you will receive a check equal to 10% of the gross income received from your online magazine’s gross income.

The more efficient, effective, interesting and up-to-date it is, the more informative the more popular the magazine becomes, and that means higher income potential.

This includes income from:

-PPC (Pay Per Click) Income
The links on your magazine’s site will allow your readers to click on to those links and the owner of the link will pay a small fee for the traffic generated by each click.

-Affiliate Income
These are advertisers selling a particular product or service. They generally pay a small percentage of every sale generated by a reader who clicks on the link and makes a purchase.

-Ad Space
Advertisers will pay to display their logo or ad in a prominent position.

-Pay For Traffic
Certain advertisers that have static ads (ads with no links) will pay a small fee for each and every reader who accesses your magazine.

-Proprietary Sales Percentage
In many cases there is the opportunity for the editor to find unique products that relate to the subject of the magazine. In these cases the company will receive a percentage of the profits generated by those sales and the editor shall initiate the products.

-Membership Fees
Many of the sites will have social networking (dating) sites attached These sites may have a number of magazines attached to them. The editor will receive a percentage of memberships generated by their own publication. These situations may generate longer-term income from membership renewal.

As we receive our financial reports, we will forward them to the editor with a full accounting of the income received. We will then make a direct deposit into your bank or PayPal account for your commission. Generally, payments are received 30 days after billing in our offices and forwarded to you within 10 days from their receipt from the advertisers. We will not send payments until there is at least a $25 minimum in your account.

Researching Your Magazine:
Doing your research is going to be an ongoing duty. The basis of this research is one of the most important parts of the editor’s job. Each online magazine generates income based on the number of links that are accessed by the readers. It is through the use of link-click access that creates the majority of the income we receive.

The quality of our sites will determine what and how many advertisers wish to participate with us as well as what affiliates will enter into percentage agreements with us on a shared revenue basis.

The editor should continually monitor competing Web sites and print magazines on the same or similar subjects. By doing this, the editor will find links to potential advertisers, links to associations and groups related to the subject, links to articles of interest to the visitors of our sites and the readers of our online magazine. Keeping a site fresh with new information is one of the primary purposes of the editor’s job. It must be updated monthly!

The popularity of our magazines will depend on the value of our information and our ability to keep our readers interested and coming back. An editor building a magazine site is similar to a store owner who is offering retail merchandise for sale. If the displays in the store are not kept current, if there is not something new and unique for the shoppers to see, then the shoppers will not return on a regular basis. The same is true for your online magazine.
